Tammy Burgess, RD has been using the Craving Change cognitive-behavioural approach and resources in her practice for over a decade. When asked how she would describe the program to a colleague, here’s what she wrote,
“Craving Change is a succinct, easily understandable, comprehensive, evidenced-based program that provides incredible resources, worksheets and tools to assist you in guiding your patients/clients to improved self-awareness of circumstances, thoughts and feelings that impact their food and health-related behaviours. It provides practical strategies to aid patients/clients in understanding and improving their relationship with food and is life-changing. It is rewarding to watch someone who has struggled with food for most of their lives come to a new level of understanding and to learn to approach their efforts with curiosity and gentleness instead of punishment and negativity.”
