Feedback from clinicians regarding a 2024 change in the program vocabulary has been consistently positive. Recently, a nurse who recertified shared,
“I was very pleased with the most recent round of edits and prefer the use of the term ‘unintentional eating’ instead of ‘problematic eating’.”
She also wrote:
“This workshop is realistic and client-centered. The Change Buffet really allows for personalization of strategies for clients. The program is not dictatorial. Rather, it engages clients in reflecting on and planning/setting goals that are important and feasible for them. It puts the power into the hands of the client.”
