“A colleague and I delivered the Craving Change® program to a group of clients with mental health challenges at our local Canadian Mental Health Association chapter. We used the change strategies we felt would be better understood by this clientele e.g. renovate your environment, quench your thirst, distract yourself, manage stress and left out others like solve problems effectively that would be too complex.”
“I often use the ‘Non-food Treats – Rewards for Good Behaviour’ handout from the Resource Library in my one-on-one consultations. I find it works well as a follow up to the Nurture Yourself self-awareness activity that identifies all of the ways we use food to self-comfort.”
