CBT Approach Enhances Practice

Posted: January 4, 2023

A recent survey of over 100 American dietitians revealed that nearly 80% felt that teaching cognitive-behavioural (CBT) strategies and skills to their clients would add value to their practice. Thus, nearly ¾ of the dietitians identified that it would be a benefit to incorporate CBT content into their business. Also, 80% of respondents indicated that the statement, ‘Change thinking habits to change eating habits’ resonated with them.

We are here to help! Since 2008, Craving Change® has enhanced the practice of over 3000 dietitians with its evidence-driven, cognitive-behavioural training and tools. These trained dietitians have helped over 50,000 clients become more aware of their problematic eating triggers and utilize CBT strategies to manage their eating challenges. Retail dietitians providing services for Loblaws, Canada’s largest grocery store chain in Canada, offer Craving Change workshops and use the CBT approach and resources with individual clients.
