Although Craving Change focuses on eating behaviour, the program is valuable to many health care providers, not just dietitians. Dr. Rehana Ahmed, a family doctor, recently certified with Craving Change and had this to say:
“I use Craving Change tools with my patients in my daily practice. They describe a “mind shift” with their eating and have made some sustainable changes. I think the comfort in knowing that “slippage” happens and we all have “setbacks” and to look at these with curiosity rather than failures and to be the investigator of what is happening rather than pushing blame on oneself is key.”
“My only wish is that I had more time! I am excited to facilitate the program in a group setting. I plan to offer a 4-week program virtually with a group of patients that have shown interest. On our 5th week, we will meet for a coffee to end and celebrate our successes.”
