Mindful Eating – Experience and Tips

Check out these great comments from a Craving Change® Certified Facilitator who recently completed the Re-certification Exam.

The Craving Change® workshop has been a valuable resource for individuals that have attended. We provide exercise and nutrition education regularly but being able to also provide strategies for changing unhealthy eating behaviours has helped address the gap between education and application. I like using the ‘Mindful Eating Experience’ activity from the Resource Library. Groups that I have done this with, love it and it allows for great discussion afterwards. I will ask group to bring in a small snack for the next session so that we can complete an activity together. I will also follow this up with the distraction-free diet worksheet as it flows well.

Certification provides clinicians with access to many more cognitive-behavioural activities and resources for groups and individual clients. Check out the Certification page on our website for more information.
